Spanish: A Rich, Romantic Language

Let's face it. The world is not getting any bigger. The world's technology has created a demand for people who can speak more than one language (for non-English speakers that usually means English). Today's job market will generally pick the guy/gal who can speak not just English (and we're talking about educated English, not the colorful phrases off the streets) but some other language. What foreign language do they hope you know? Spanish.

After NAFTA brought Americans of all types (Mexican, Canadian, United States' Americans) a tad bit closer together, the need for greater language proficiency was enhanced. You want to be able to compete for jobs? Learn another language.

Hence, the need for on-line lessons. So much easier than going to a weekly class. Saves a ton of gas. Only problem is tying up the phone (if you're not one of the blessed people with more than one line).

I suggest going through a lesson a week. I'll be adding more lessons and possible assignments (I put possible, because if you're as lazy as I am, you probably won't do them). If you feel that you're better and faster than that, go as fast as you wish. Also, if you feel I'm going too fast, take as much time as you wish. You have to remember, this whole thing is your baby. Go at whatever pace seems right to you.
